Perspectives on Multidisciplinary Care for Children with Autism Speaker Series Lecture: Approaches to the Autism Spectrum Disorder Access Challenges

This lecture will review the evidence base for some of the approaches that have been used to improve access to diagnostic and management services for children with ASD.

Presented by Nathan J. Blum, M.D., Chief, Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia; W.T. Grant Professor of Pediatrics, Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania

This brand-new speaker series will focus on research and service/training models designed to make developmental care more accessible for children with autism and their families, presenting perspectives from a range of pediatric disciplines. Conducted via interactive webinar. All lectures, unless otherwise indicated, start at 12:00 p.m. CST and will occur quarterly.

This series is hosted by VUMC’s Division of Developmental Medicine.

Target audience: supporting healthcare providers and disability service professionals who work with children with autism and other developmental differences/variations
