Benefit Concert for Our Place Nashville, January 30 Renowned songwriter Roger Cook, known for I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing and Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress called up a few of his friends and asked them to join him in a benefit concert for Our Place Nashville. Roger and his friends are some of the most successful songwriters in the world. FOUR are members of the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame. These men and women have written hit after hit, including "The Dance," "Unanswered Prayers," "Friends in Low Places," "Knock Three Times," "Tie a Yellow Ribbon," "I Love a Rainy Night," "When You're in Love with a Beautiful Woman," "Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress," "I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing," and "You've Got Your Troubles."
