This is a comprehensive 12-week training to be held Mondays in the fall starting August 17.

The Volunteer Advocacy Project (VAP) at the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center trains interested individuals to advocate for families as they navigate their way through the special education process. The Fall 2020 training will take place on Monday mornings from 9:00 AM -12:00 noon. CT (10:00 am - 1:00 pm ET) beginning Aug. 17 through Nov. 2 online via Zoom. The training will run for 12 weeks (a total of 40 hours). Additional information about the training can be found on the VAP website. Click the link above to complete the preliminary VAP application.
