Training and education activities at the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center aim to present researchers, professionals, organizations and the community with the latest knowledge obtained through scientific and clinical research.

  • Community Training

    In-person training programs for educators, service providers, employers, families, and disability advocates.

  • LEND Training

    The Vanderbilt Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) training Program prepares graduate and post graduate level health professionals in 13 disciplines to assume leadership roles to serve children with neurodevelopmental and related disabilities.

  • Online Learning

    Video-based training for health care providers, educators, service providers, and families.

  • Research and Academic Training

    An array of advanced research training opportunities associated with the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center. The Center has a distinguished record of training behavioral and biomedical scientists.

  • TRIAD Training

    The Treatment and Research Institute for Autism Spectrum Disorders (TRIAD) provides a variety of workshops for parents, educators, and professionals are offered throughout the year. These workshops focus on specific topics related to state-of-the-art behavioral and educational interventions for children with autism.

  • UCEDD Training

    The Vanderbilt Kennedy Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities provides innovative leadership in education, research and services to people with disabilities, the community, and families. We promote the independence, self-determination, productivity, integration, and inclusion of individuals with developmental disabilities and provide supports for families. UCEDD Trainees are Vanderbilt students working with VKC-affiliated faculty members who serve as mentors. Programs are individualized to provide Trainees with experience in disability-related research, training, services, or dissemination.
