Sheena Adams-Avery, CDT, CDP, is an experienced and innovative media professional with over 20 years of media experience and direct experience managing print, television, and digital media, social media promotions, content creation, event and project coordination, and ongoing marketing campaigns. In her current role as Communications Manager for Pathfinder, Sheena oversees the organization’s communications, branding, and digital media content, is the managing editor of The Compass, and assists with trainings, webinars, and outreach events. Sheena is also a Certified Diversity and Inclusion Trainer and Practitioner, and a dynamic public speaker. Her ability to actively engage her audience in thought-provoking dialogue, and in a fastidious manner, is refreshing, especially when discussing sensitive material. She is a champion for equality and inclusion for people in marginalized communities and works tirelessly to bring awareness to important issues faced in these communities.
