TN-TAN Autism

As part of the TN-TAN network, Vanderbilt Kennedy Center’s TRIAD provides training, consultation, and coaching services designed to support educators in their classrooms and develop school and system-wide supports to address needs specific to autistic students.

Based on multiple years of data, we have identified key training areas for which educators have requested technical assistance. These include trainings specifically designed for school/district administrators, paraprofessionals, special education teachers, general education teachers, new teachers, speech-language pathologists, and more. Many educators come to us for support in

  • Administrator Engagement
  • Paraprofessional Support and Training
  • Pre-K Teaching
  • Classroom Management
  • Academic Engagement
  • Social and Personal Competencies
  • Transitions (Pre-K to K, ES to MS, MS to HS, Post-secondary)

However, we often hear from education professionals who have needs which do not fit into the service lines we currently have, and we love when this happens. It gives us the opportunity to work with those professionals, learn about their autistic students, and develop programming to meet those needs, often delivered in real-time. We look forward to working with you!
