Vanderbilt’s Treatment and Research Institute for Autism Spectrum Disorders (TRIAD) will provide a one-day workshop specifically designed for LEA faculty and staff in Tennessee who work in the middle or high school setting. The purpose of this workshop is to help facilitate effective transition planning for students with autism spectrum disorders. Participants will leave equipped with six online modules to be used in transition planning activities in their own schools and school systems. Module topics include person-centered planning, finances, employment, postsecondary education, independent living, and the Employment and Community First (ECF) Choices program.
