TABS Chat: Supporting Siblings of People with Disabilities: The Sibling Leadership Network
July 20, 5:00-6:30 p.m. CT

Tune in to this free and informal online chat hosted by TABS (Tennessee Adult Brothers and Sisters of people with disabilities) with Amy Halm of the national Sibling Leadership Network (SLN). TABS is Tennessee’s state chapter of the SLN, working to develop a statewide support and information network for siblings. Amy will share about her own sibling journey, provide information about resources offered by the SLN, and spotlight other information about sibling supports. There will also be discussion time for you to share what kinds of sibling supports you would like to see offered in Tennessee.

Whether you are a sibling to someone with a disability or just want to learn more about sibling resources, join us to learn more. Attendees outside Tennessee are also welcome to attend.

Note: The SLN is hosting their biannual conference virtually for the first time ever, beginning on June 18-19! Visit https://siblingleadership.org/ to learn more and register. Tennessee siblings (or other family members of people with disabilities) can apply for financial support through the Tennessee Council on Developmental Disabilities Scholarship Fund: https://bit.ly/CDDScholarshipApp.
