TABS Chat: Juggling Multiple Caregiving Roles
June 14, 5:00-6:30 p.m. CT
Join Tennessee Adult Brothers and Sisters (TABS) for this free virtual conversation specifically for siblings of people with disabilities about decisions and challenges around supporting multiple generations of your family. Many siblings find themselves at some point providing care or support to aging parents/in-laws, their sibling with a disability, and their own children all at once. Having a sibling with a disability, especially those who need a high level of support, can also affect decisions around choosing partners and becoming parents. This will be an open discussion where siblings can feel free to share their own stories, ask questions, or just listen and learn from fellow siblings. Sessions are not recorded, and everything said will be confidential.
TABS is led by the Tennessee Council on Developmental Disabilities and the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities.
