Perspectives on Multidisciplinary Care for Children with Autism Speaker Series Lecture: ASD Workforce Shortage: The “Anita” Solution
Friday, Sept. 16, 2022, 12:00-1:00 p.m. CT

Presented by Peter Smith, M.D., M.A.; Anita Krolczyk, CPNP-PC, PMHS; and Anita Berry MSN, CNP, APN, PMHS

The field of DBP has too few clinicians. This presentation will outline an educational program developed to build the workforce through recruitment and training of nurse practitioners.

This brand-new speaker series will focus on research and service/training models designed to make developmental care more accessible for children with autism and their families, presenting perspectives from a range of pediatric disciplines. Conducted via interactive webinar. All lectures, unless otherwise indicated, start at 12:00 p.m. CST and will occur quarterly.

This series is hosted by VUMC’s Division of Developmental Medicine.

Target audience: supporting healthcare providers and disability service professionals who work with children with autism and other developmental differences/variations
