VKC IDDRC Data Sciences Core (Core E) Workshop: Exploring EHR with Core E: A Python Tutorial

The Vanderbilt Kennedy Center's Data Sciences Core (Core E) houses a database of electronic health record (EHR) data for approximately 1 million VU patients, including demographics, International Classification of Diseases (ICD) codes, labs, medications, and more. This tutorial will provide an overview of this large dataset, including opportunities for studying various intellectual and developmental disabilities in the EHR. A hands-on case study will cover strategies for visualizing and analyzing ICD records using python tools.
