Researchers are inviting siblings (ages 18-30) across the state to participate in a short survey titled "Strengths and Social Connections of Siblings with and without Developmental Disabilities" focused on the social connections and strengths of their brothers/sisters with intellectual disabilities or autism.
The goal is to learn more about these special sibling relationships and expand what we know about the strengths of young people with developmental disabilities.
To participate, complete the online survey. It should take less than 20 minutes to complete.

Researchers will randomly select 20 siblings to receive a $25 gift card from among the completed surveys.
The survey asks about:
- Background information about you and your brother/sister
- Activities you and your brother/sister do together
- Your views about your brother’s/sister’s strengths
- Your expectations for your brother’s/sister’s future plans
Participants can skip any questions they prefer not to answer. They can also change their minds about participating after reading the survey.
