Call for Proposals now open for 2015 Gatlinburg Conference

By: Elizabeth Turner

The Call for Proposals for the 2015 Gatlinburg Conference on Research & Theory in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities is now open. Abstracts for posters and symposia will be accepted via Vanderbilt University's REDCap data collection website through 5:00 p.m. CST Monday, Oct. 13, 2014.

The 48th Annual Gatlinburg Conference’s theme will be “Bringing Big Data to Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities” and will take place Apr. 1-3, 2015, at the Hotel Monteleone in New Orleans, LA. While coordinators would love to see submittals that correlate with the 2015 theme, it is not required.

To submit a poster abstract for the 2015 Gatlinburg Conference, click here.

To submit a symposium abstract for the 2015 Gatlinburg Conference, click here.

Both REDCap links will allow potential presenters to make edits/additions, save, and return later as needed before they officially submit abstracts for judging, so do not click “Submit” until all necessary changes have been made to a proposal. If you click “Submit” and discover you have to make a change to your abstract, do NOT resubmit your proposal. Instead, notify Laura McLeod (615-343-5322; laura.mcleod@vanderbilt.edu) or Elizabeth Turner (615-322-8240; elizabeth.turner@vanderbilt.edu), and they will make the edits to submittals within REDCap.
