2015 VKC Science Day poster submission EXTENDED to Aug. 3

The Call for Abstracts is open for 2015's Vanderbilt Kennedy Center Science Day, set for Tuesday, Sept. 29, in Vanderbilt University's Student Life Center.

UPDATE: The Call for Poster Abstracts is now closed.

In addition to the traditional Science Day poster displays, the VKC is also honored to welcome past and present VKC directors for a panel discussion on the evolution of the field of research in intellectual and developmental disabilities as well as Pasko Rakic, M.D., Ph.D., Dorys McConnell Duberg Professor of Neuroscience, Professor of Neurology, and Director, Kavli Institute for Neuroscience, Yale University, as guest speaker. In years past, more than 120 posters have been presented each Science Day by undergraduate students, graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, research faculty, and research staff conducting research in labs or research programs of VKC members and investigators. Posters are within three theme areas -- Cellular and Molecular Neuroscience, Systems Neuroscience, and Clinical, Behavioral, and Intervention Research.
