Recent Advances in Sequential Analysis of Behavioral Data
Paul Yoder, Ph.D., Professor of Special Education, and Blair Lloyd, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Special Education, presented a joint lecture titled "Recent Advances in Sequential Analysis of Behavioral Data" on Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2017, from 12:00-1:00 p.m. in Room 241 of the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center.
After a brief introduction to the value of sequential analysis, the primary findings from three recent simulation studies will be provided as the basis for state of the art recommendations for quantifying close temporal associations between behaviors from direct observation data. Example applications are relevant to special education, applied behavior analysis, communication disorders, and developmental psychology.
