Breaking Ground with the VKC IV

The mission of the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center (VKC) for Research on Human Development is to facilitate discoveries and best practices that make positive differences in the lives of persons with developmental disabilities and their families. The VKC began their Arts and Disabilities program in 1994 to showcase the talents of persons with disabilities. The Council on Developmental Disabilities is a state agency established to improve disability policies and practices, educate policymakers and the public, and facilitate community collaboration to create lasting, positive change.
