The Vanderbilt Kennedy Center and Friends Life Community present this free exhibit. Friends Life Community artists use vibrant hues and bold shapes to bring life to a visual language that is as diverse as their individual experiences. Colorful shapes shout out joy. Zigzags become metaphors for life, full of unexpected turns, rapid shifts, and graceful transitions. Each artist freely explores and expresses themselves, creating a sanctuary where motion is not only welcomed, but celebrated. Through the domain of abstraction, every stroke and form capture a painted dance, a rhythm unique to each artist.
