Overview of Interests

Dr. Chow's research centers on improving the quality of life of children and adolescents, and the people who support them, with disorders of learning, communication, and behavior, broadly defined. His work focuses on children with developmental language disorders, clinical and school-based behavior disorders, and typical and atypical social development.He also supports a wider range of research with clinical populations through research synthesis methods and study design collaborations. Dr. Chow also focus on the systems that facilitate (or hinder) equitable access to services and education, and work to understand foundational issues of implementation, adoption, and sustainment of policies, practices, and programs.

Jason Chow was a VKC UCEDD trainee in graduate school and is excited to be a part of the VKC community as a VKC Member.
