Overview of Interests
Dr. Corona’s training and professional practice to date have focused on developmental and child clinical psychology, with a particular emphasis on autism spectrum disorder (ASD). She has specialized training in the assessment and identification of ASD across the lifespan, and she has been involved in the delivery and dissemination of best practice services for individuals with neurodevelopmental disabilities, together with their families and educators. As a faculty member at Vanderbilt, Dr. Corona has continued to focus her research and clinical work on providing diagnostic and assessment services for children with neurodevelopmental disabilities. As part of Vanderbilt’s Treatment and Research Institute for Autism Spectrum Disorders (TRIAD), Dr. Corona is also involved with outreach and professional development opportunities for educators and families across the state.
