Overview of Interests

Curtis Harris has gained broad experience in the field of behavior analysis working with children and adults with developmental disability over the past 26 years across the institutional, home and community settings. His primary interest is in working with parent/caregivers and direct-support staff to increase adaptive behavior for people with developmental disability who have severe and complicated challenging behaviors. Curtis’ research interests include increasing parent/caregiver engagement in behavioral interventions, assent-based ABA protocols and trauma-informed care. Additional experience includes teaching bachelor’s level courses in ABA for seven years and leading an ABA agency as owner/director for 14 years.

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
