Autism and Language Development in Toddlers

Description

Study opportunity for children 18-36 months of age with autism or with concerns about their social interaction or language development or children 12-36 months without autism.

Families attend 1-2 study visits at Vanderbilt. Children receive developmental, social communication, and autism assessments, and also participate in play sessions with their parent and watch a short movie.

Families receive feedback on their child’s development and can receive a written report with results, recommendations, and referrals at no cost.

This study is paired with an intervention study.

Participant Criteria

Children 18-36 months of age with autism or with concerns about their social interaction or language development or children 12-36 months without autism.
