Parents & Adolescents Coping with COVID-19 Stress Study

Principal Investigator: Bruce Compas, Ph.D.

Description

The Stress and Coping Research Team at Vanderbilt University is conducting a study about stress and emotions families may be experiencing with the recent COVID-19 pandemic. The goal of the study is to better understand the ways in which parents and their adolescent-age children are being affected by COVID-19 and to identify the most helpful coping strategies to deal with stress related to COVID-19. This information will be helpful in developing effective psychological programs to strengthen skills to cope with stress.

We are looking for parents who have at least one child between the ages of 10 and 17. The study involves parents and adolescents completing online questionnaires that take about 1 hour to complete. Compensation is provided for you and your adolescent-age child.
