Principal Investigator:
Description
You are invited to participate in online studies about topics that affect the lives of adults on the autism spectrum. These survey studies will help us better understand what affects outcomes for adults on the autism spectrum. To do this, we will ask you to complete surveys for different studies.
Your responses across the different studies will be linked together to help us better understand how different life experiences, individual traits, perceptions, and attitudes can affect life outcomes, such as health, employment, quality of life, and other outcomes. You will also have the option to participate in longitudinal surveys.
This study will require you to:
Complete an online survey. Each connected survey topic takes a different amount of time to complete (between 5 and 40 minutes).
(optional) We will ask you to take some surveys again in two weeks. You may also choose to repeat most of the surveys every two years (longitudinal study)
Participants in this study must:
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Have an autism diagnosis OR identify with a diagnosis of autism (self-diagnosed)
- Be able to read and respond to an online survey
Compensation:
When you complete a survey topic, you will be entered into a lottery to win a $50 Amazon Gift Card. You will also entered into a lottery when you retake a survey topic in two weeks.
If you participate in the longitudinal studies, you will be asked to complete these survey topics every two years. You will be entered into a new lottery to win a $50 Amazon Gift Card for every two years that you complete a survey topic.
