Participants sought for a fMRI study on emotions.

Are you interested in how emotions affect the brain? The BRAINS Lab is looking for adolescents and young adults, ages 12 to 23, to participate in a paid research study.

Those who qualify for the full study may receive a total of $100 for completion of two study sessions that include a clinical interview, EEG recording, questionnaires about mood and health, an MRI brain scan, and cognitive tasks.

Participation

Tasks include:

  • Interview
  • EEG recording
  • Report mood via smartphone app for 1 week
  • fMRI scanning (see a picture of your brain!)
  • Cognitive tests

Participant Criteria

  • All participants must be between 12 and 23 years of age
  • Must have smartphone (Android or iPhone)

Compensation

Participants will be compensated with a $100 gift card for completing all tasks.
