Does your child struggle with language or reading?

Description

We are interested in learning more about children who struggle with reading and language, and how their language skills might be related to their other thinking and listening skills, such as their timing abilities. Children who qualify will be asked to come to the Vanderbilt campus where the research team will assess their thinking, speaking, and timing abilities. Children may also be asked to spit into a cup.

Participant Criteria

Children at least 6 and who have not yet turned 13

Compensation

Your family will receive a $40 gift card for an on-campus screening visit and $20/hour in gift cards for additional visits. Results of standardized testing will be provided at no cost.

Visit Requirements

One screening visit, one to two study visits, and an optional EEG visit.
