Experiences of Recent Blind Graduates

Principal Investigator: Hilary Travers, Ph.D.

Description

EMPOWERing Youth with Visual Impairments is a new federally funded project focused on supporting transition-aged students with visual impairment and those who serve them. We are looking to survey young adults with visual impairment about their own experiences in high school and adulthood. The information shared will directly inform resources and supports that are developed to benefit other youth and young adults with visual impairment in employment and education.

The survey takes about 20 minutes to complete. Survey participants must:

  • Live in the U.S.
  • Be blind or have a visual impairment
  • Have graduated from or left a high school or transition program, and
  • Be 18-25 years old
