Description
Our study aims to improve an understanding of how children learn to count and comprehend numbers. We hope to measure cross-cultural differences in children's early counting and numerical abilities, to understand the basic cognitive processes that contribute to learning, and to establish how linguistic and cultural differences impact learning in different parts of the US and internationally.
Participant Criteria
Typically developing children between 2 and 6 years of age, no diagnosis of hearing disorders, normal or corrected-to-normal vision, and English spoken from birth (but not necessarily the child's only language)
