Happy Families Study

Description

The Mood, Emotion, and Development Lab is recruiting mothers and their 8- to 12-year-old children for a study on depression prevention.

You may be eligible if you are a mother and have experienced symptoms of depression at some time in your life. Participants will be asked to complete questionnaires and participate in an online, 8-week intervention. Participants will be asked to make 3 visits to the lab at Vanderbilt. Financial compensation (up to $390) will be provided.

Participation:
Three visits involving computer tasks will be completed at Vanderbilt University in the Psychology and Human Development Department. One visit involving interviews and all 8 intervention sessions will be completed online through a video-conferencing platform.
