Description

Proyecto PUENTE is a qualitative research study that aims to understand the experiences of Latino caregivers whose children are receiving Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. The study seeks to learn about caregivers’ experiences, perspectives, and what matters most to their families when receiving services. Spanish-speaking Latino caregivers of children ages 3–5 who have received ABA services for at least three months are invited to participate in a one-on-one Zoom interview lasting approximately 60–90 minutes

Participants will discuss their experiences with ABA services and will have the opportunity to review a summary of their interview and provide feedback. The goal of the study is to better understand how ABA services can become more responsive to the needs, values, priorities, and cultural contexts of Latino families. Findings from this study may help inform more family-centered and culturally responsive practices within ABA service delivery.
