The VKC Conversation Series on Research in Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities is designed to share research in plain, accessible language with the community while fielding questions from the audience. We invite anyone who is interested in learning more about VKC research to attend this event.
Join us for a conversation about the findings from a statewide needs assessment conducted by the Tennessee Developmental Disabilities Network. This collaborative effort brought together four statewide disability organizations to gather meaningful input from Tennesseans with disabilities, their families, and the professionals who support them.
This discussion will highlight important findings from the assessment which will help shape each DD Network partner’s five-year plan of focus, resources, and advocacy. Whether you’re a person with a disability, a family member, provider, or policymaker, this session will offer a clearer picture of what needs exist in our state and how we can work together to strengthen supports and drive systemwide improvements for Tennesseans with disabilities.
