TRIAD is committed to the provision of exemplary autism-specific training to parents, service providers, and future professionals.
A variety of workshops for parents, educators, and professionals are offered throughout the year. These workshops focus on specific topics related to state-of-the-art behavioral and educational interventions for children with autism.

- Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2) Clinical Training
The standard instrument for assessing autism spectrum disorders across age, developmental level, and language skills.
- Community Engagement Program
Initiative to create understanding and awareness of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) across the community by educating families and developing collaborative partnerships with education and arts programs.
- Families First Monthly workshops

- Screening Tool for Autism in Toddlers and Young children (STAT)
STAT is an empirically-derived, interactive measure developed to screen for autism in children between 24 and 36 months of age.
- Tennessee Cares Network
The misson of the Tennessee Cares Network at VUMC is to connect families and medical providers to resources in their communities and to each other. It focuses on children under age 5 years at risk of developmental delay or ASD.
