Overview of Interests
I am interested in how we recognize objects visually, and how our experience with objects transforms our visual system. My research takes advantage of a number of techniques available to cognitive neuroscientists, either in my lab or in that of my collaborators. These include psychophysics, fMRI, ERPs and the study of patients with brain lesions or autism. A lot of my work involves computer-generated novel objects, such as the Greebles.
