Communication and Dissemination (Core A)

Communication efforts are aimed at sharing IDDRC activities and research. Up-to-date information is shared about ongoing IDD-research, training and educational activities, and funding and collaboration opportunities via the VKC IDDRC website, newsletters, and social media. These communication activities also target the broader national and international IDD research community to promote awareness of VKC IDDRC research advances.

Communication and Dissemination Services

  • Maintain VKC and collaborative project websites
  • Manage electronic communication, including organization-wide e-newsletter Monday Morning Message, Notables, and Discovery newsletters. Subscribe to VKC newsletters HERE
  • Produce The Promise of Discovery research podcast
  • Develop, design, and disseminate print and electronic products such as flyers, research reports, toolkits, press releases, tips and resources fact sheets, project replication manuals, and other educational materials for projects and researchers
  • Manage and maintain an active social media presence
  • Produce 2-3 minute VKC Research Briefs videos
  • Manage media relations in coordination with Vanderbilt University/Vanderbilt University Medical Center News and Communications
